With over two decades of experience in the music industry, Shawanna Jenkins, better known as "Miss Delta",  has established herself as a versatile and dynamic rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and performer. Hailing from Benoit, MS, she developed a love for music at a very early age. She grew up singing with her family in church, family groups, and playing piano for numerous churches in the Mississippi Delta area. At the age of eleven, after being self taught in playing the piano, Miss Delta wrote, produced, and recorded her first gospel song entitled "Lord, I Love You", at her uncle's recording studio. 

Formerly known as "Shu Shu Da Fly Diva", she started a rap group called D.S.H.(Down South  Hoodlums) with her best friend Timothy Litt, a close friend Derrick Thomas and one of her cousins Willie Brown, where they would travel up and down the Mississippi Delta, performing at Open Mic shows in night clubs. She went on to continue singing with her college choir G.A.V( God's Anointed Voices) at Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, from 2002 until 2004, when she moved to Clarksville, Tn. Her love for music followed her to Tennessee, where she re-established herself as "Miss Delta"; symbolizing the fact that she was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta area.

Miss Delta then became a part of Destined Famed Records in Clarksville TN, where she wrote songs for and produced tracks for numerous artist on this label. Artist such as Sangin' Boy, one of the lead singers for the Internationally Recording Groups known as KHEMISTRY. She also worked as an audio engineer for the same label. Miss Delta has also worked with artists such as JUDICIAL of HOMETEAM out of Atlanta, GA, were she provided background vocals on some of his songs.

Miss Delta relocated to Columbus, Ga in 2012 due to her military obligations. In 2013, she started working as a producer and engineer at Underground Soundz Ent under Ray Baker. She has sang on stages with, engineered for, recorded with, and has written and produced songs for numerous artist  in and around the Columbus, Ga Tri-City area. Artist such as American Idol Finalist LATOYA LONDON, MOHAN,  MOSES SANKOFA, JONES GEECH, BEALLWOOD BLACKK, 2 HARD(MARQUIS WINEGLASS), JOSIAH BRISCOE, NNENNA MONAE, B3, BOSS DRE,  J FINE$$, STAXX, RIA 706, and many, many more.

In 2017, Miss Delta reemerged on the scene as a rapper turned singer; releasing her single "Many Faces" from her unreleased album entitled "LOVE WARS".  That same year, she won "Best Female R&B Artist" and 'Best Up & Coming Female Artist"  at the Tri-City Music Awards. In 2019, she went on to work as a producer and engineer at Pro Sounds Recording Studio under Ira Doughty.  Even though her time there was short lived, she had the privilege of working with local artist such as AJT FEATURING ASCENSION and THE WILLIAMS GIRLZ. 

In 2024, after taking time off to deal with some health issues, Miss Delta hit the scenes again, releasing her single "CAN'T BE YOUR WOMAN", while still recording her soon to be released album "LOVE REVAMPED". With a diverse repertoire that spans multiple genre, Miss Delta is a gifted Singer, a talented Producer, and amazing Performer, with an aura tailored to suit any occasion.
